Chris Simpkins is a healthcare executive with unique and superior understanding of analytics in the healthcare industry.  He is an expert at helping organizations create transformation through strategic data analytics.  Chris has extensive payer, provider and consulting experience and has worked, for over thirty years,  with healthcare organizations of all sizes and stages of development. 

Chris is a sought after presenter on topics such as developing data informed insights, payer / provider collaboration, strategies for providers to optimize value based care arrangements, the role of analytics in health equity and, data strategy development. 

Chris has held leadership positions at Independence Blue Cross, McKesson Health Solutions, Change Healthcare, Accolade, Capital Blue Cross & Aetna.  Chris' has consulted to many organizations including Anthem, Horizon Blue Cross, Florida Blue, Centene and CIGNA as well as multiple provider practices.

Chris received his B.S. in Actuarial Science from Pennsylvania State University and holds an MBA in Healthcare Management and Finance from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania

Chris lives outside of Philadelphia PA with his wife and three children.  He is an active member of the community most recently as serving as Treasurer  of Wharton Healthcare Management Alumni association and Treasurer of his local community library board.
